Mobile Developer
Functions
A Mobile Developer is responsible for producing the mobile version of a website or a native application for smartphones or tablets.
With the growing use of mobile devices of varying sizes by Internet users, this is a strategic job because it addresses the increasing prominence of site mobility. To best meet their needs, a Mobile Developer must account for characteristics such as the load time of different items. He also tries as much as possible to simplify navigation for an enjoyable user experience.
To this end, he drafts the technical specifications in consultation with the Digital Project Manager (who may be a mobile specialist). He recommends the technical solutions that best meet the specific needs of the project. He develops the interfaces and features after the web design phase, taking into account the specifics of different browsers and operating systems. He co-writes the acceptance specifications with the Digital Project Manager, tests the interfaces and handles debugging.
