HTML Integrator

Functions

The work of an HTML Integrator is similar to that of a Developer. The Integrator’s job begins when the project design phase is complete and it is time to implement the design. The Integrator takes the graphic models and translates them into computer language for the pre-determined technical infrastructure so they can be used on desktop and mobile browsers. She builds the pages of a website by inserting the various text and graphic elements (pictures, videos, etc.) into the internal page structure.

The Web Integrator works under the standards in force (RWD, W3C, accessibility). She is responsible for converting and integrating the elements which comprise the web page. She also maintains the overall consistency of the site or application, as well as its compatibility with different browsers.

She works within a diverse team that includes Web Designer, Digital Project Manager, E-Commerce Manager, etc.

Qualities

HTML Integrators are independent, rigorous, meticulous and organised. They are also responsive and able to meet very tight deadlines. They are listeners and have solid interpersonal skills that foster proactive behaviours.

Integrators are always monitoring technological developments. They are familiar with Internet programming languages, integration methods and web uses, particularly vis-à-vis different browsers.
